We have only one life to live, thus everybody deserves a second opportunity. When such surprise opportunity is handed over by someone unknown then it creates a special feeling among us. It creates a belief that there is someone who cares about us, and from that time we learn to thank and smile truly from core of our heart.

The reason behind formation of this common forum called THE TAKIYANS by a group of alumni of two prominent schools of Kolkata namely Govt. Sponsored Multipurpose School for Boys Taki House and Taki House Govt. Sponsored Girls High School, is to create such awareness that we care. And in that way, we intend to create a permanent pleasureful memory in your heart which you will also share with someone you care.

BRIDGING THE GAP

We are forming that bridge which may enable everybody to share & care some necessities, willingness, pains and gains of individual alumni of these two schools. Well, when we talk about school, we can not limit our work only within the alumni only. Hence our bigger network includes our beloved teachers, teaching staffs and all others who are directly or indirectly related to school from past to present.

SOCIAL INDEPENDENCE IN ECOSYSTEM

Social independence of a human being vastly depends on two aspects, one of which is health and the other is wealth. THE TAKIYANS aims to reduce the hindrance by bringing a possible equilibrium among their members as well their extended family by building them in a close ecosystem continuously feeding it’s genuinely, necessity & positive outcome. We believe such awareness will push social independence to next level.

POSITIVE CULTURAL ENERGY

A good culture can make human worthy of everyone. The current generation of school going children is put under severe pressure from all sides to learn recipes for excellence to achieve success in life. The joy of learning and free thinking is lost & some of the finer faculties of a human being, necessary are not being developed, and perhaps not even being encouraged. We are here to encourage the immense potential of the young generation and try to inculcate a culture of independent thinking.

It is a joint effort & cultivation of few open minded alumni settled in various socio-economic platforms to build this non profit social welfare organization. This platform not only willing to share all happiness within it's family members but also willing to extend it's supportive hand to numerous human being offering various kinds of support in segments like health, education, culture, fund raising and others.
